“Call for Proposals” Opens for the Sixth Annual Greater Waco Community Education Summit
The Greater Waco Community Education Alliance will accept “Call for Proposals,” from February 1-April 1, 2013. “Call for Proposals” is a process for organizations, groups, individuals, and agencies, to submit ideas for the Sixth Annual Greater Waco Community Education Summit to be held November 13 & 14, 2013, at the Waco Convention Center.
Ideas submitted will be considered for Summit breakout sessions. Summit breakout sessions are 80 minute presentations made by community members who share their work within five tracks: College and Career Readiness, Early Childhood, K-12 Education, Legislative, and Quality of Life.
“We are asking those in our community who are working each day to address education challenges and opportunities that exist for children and youth in the Greater Waco community to take time to share their program, collaboration, strategy, or best practice.” said Virginia DuPuy, Executive Director of the Greater Waco Community Education Alliance.
Anyone interested in submitting a proposal should go to www.educatewaco.com and look for the “Submit Proposal” icon and complete the online submission documents.
