Webinar on Health Impact Assessment, Episcopal Health Foundation

From Episcopal Health Foundation│Webinar on Health Impact Assessment

The Episcopal Health Foundation (EHF), jointly with the Health Impact Project, a collaboration of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and The Pew Charitable Trusts, seeks to support a Texas-based organization seeking to conduct a health impact assessment (HIA) on an issue relevant to the Episcopal Health Foundation’s strategic plan and critical issues facing Texans relevant to community health (see plan at www.episcopalhealth.org.) HIAs are a tool to help identify and address the unintended health effects of decisions made in non-health sectors. Potential applicants are invited to participate in a webinar on January 13, 2015, to learn more about HIAs and this particular funding opportunity. Representatives from the Health Impact Project will provide an overview of HIA, focusing on the screening and scoping steps of the HIA process. Please register for the webinar here.
For more information about submitting Letters of Interest to conduct an HIA, check the Episcopal Health Foundation website in early January.
