Are You a Long-Term, Equal Opportunity Fundraiser?

According to the Chronicle of Philanthropy a recent survey demonstrated that donors under the age of 35 are “more likely than older people to give more in 2012 than they did last year….” So if you haven’t done so already, consider tapping younger adults for volunteer positions (including board service). Young adults are more likely to give where they serve, and while their coffers may not be deep in the early years, the connections you make with them now, can set the stage for greater giving in the future.
