Simplicity and clarity are always good rules of thumb for most marketing content, and that includes email. In order to help focus these, Corey Eridon from Hubspot Blog lays out several tips on how to implement these simple concepts in his recent article “How to Design an Email for Superior User Experience”.

  • K.I.S.S., also known as, Keep It Short and Scrollable:
    While it can be tempting to tell the entire story in the body of an email, try not to be too ambitious- this is what Web pages are for. Your reader has other messages and it is unlikely they will scroll through the smaller details of your new report.  Instead, try finding a few short, captivating nuggets to highlight and include a link to get the more in-depth information they need. Make scrolling easy for your readers.
