With the close of the year and the pursuit of last minute tax deductions, comes an increased opportunity to seek help and receive it. In its November issue, The Chronicle of Philanthropy offered some advice on how to conduct a successful year-end appeal. Here’s one great pointer they shared
Make Sure You’re Web Friendly – The creative director of a national fundraising and marketing consultancy recommends that nonprofits make sure you and your giving options are quick and easy finds on major search engines. If the donor is already familiar with your cause, why make them scour your pages in search of the giving options? Consider adding a linked giving page (and perhaps 1 or 2 others) that pop up with the same time your website does.
